Excerpt: “The Tony® and Grammy®-Award-Winning musical, Wicked, which played from September 14 to October 9 at the Fox Theatre shattered a box office record during its Atlanta engagement. For the week ending October 9, the musical grossed $2,438,947 over eight performances, making it the highest-grossing week for a touring Broadway show in North American history. The previous North American record, also held by Wicked, was an eight-show gross of $2,400,489 during the week ending July 11, 2010 at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis, Mo.” Comments are closed.
